  • A multidisciplinary approach of writing which include theoretical and methodological contributions both from cognitive psychology, linguistics and textual genetics.
  • Focus on online research methods, as well as the analysis of written corpora, in order to study dynamics of leaning to write and of cognitive and textual processes

Goals

This Summer School aims at developing and improving the methodological and theoretical skills of researchers in the field of writing. The summer school will train in the more recent and innovative techniques for studying writing, while fostering theoretical elaboration about these methods.

The Summer School will provide trainees with the techniques and tools necessary to describe the writing phases, dynamics of writing processes and of linguistic traces, of textual operations, in novice or skilled writers.

The dynamics of writing refers to writing stages, time course of the writing processes, and transformation of the text being produced in order to take the cognitive and linguistic constraints into account.
